Answer Re: “Innova User Manual With Recipes” (item #: manual101)
Here how the story goes. The customer complained that she ordered Innova pressure regulators but not a user manual she received. Refund was issued upon user manual’s return. We are publishing our reply below just in case someone else might have the same question.
The Bottom Line: All Innova Pressure Regulators we had were sold out two or three years ago. They are not coming back. All Innova user manuals are sold out as well. Replacement parts are not being included with user manuals as bonuses. Pressure cookers or other appliances are not being included with manuals either. If you are ordering the user manual, you will receive the user manual. Sorry.
“[...] Please note that all of our manuals have a standard “Image currently not available” picture with a title and product item number clearly stating it is a user manual and not something else (http://www.hawaii-gourmet-shopping.com/usermanuals.html). Images of the pressure regulators you are probably referring to were inserted into item description text for the user manual. We placed them there for the sole purpose of describing correct cooker’s models the manual was written for and differences among them. A bold note stating the regulators not included was added.
I do not know where the leads on pressure regulators as still available were coming from, but I have noticed one of the search engines the other day displaying our image of pressure regulator, price of $13 and a link to our store underneath!!! Their robot has automatically associated a random image for a highly searched item with something completely irrelevant to create at least a single search result. I see now where from you might have gotten the “pressure regulators being included’ idea since quite a few people have written asking how could that be possible to receive long-gone pressure regulators when the product title itself is “user manual” and its description does not say anything about two regulators being included. Was there an entry in someone’s blog on this subject? The regulator itself would be way more expensive than $13 if we could find one still available anywhere in U.S. so many years later.
As you probably know, Innova went out of business about five or more years ago. We were sold out of pressure regulators and all other parts for at least two or three years since. And we are sold out of the pressure cooker manual copies by now. Just as a bakeware cake springform does not come with a cake inside, $13 user manual sold on its own does not come with a set of replacement parts or the pressure cooker itself unless such a generous bonus is clearly stated in item description. I’d love to include cakes with every order though. That would be nice.
I am very sorry the manual was not what you have expected. And I am very grateful to you for helping clarify all the requests we have been receiving on something that is long gone and has a zero chance of being manufactured ever again. I understand your sorrow. It is such an unfortunate situation of trying to find extremely rare replacement parts for something that is made to last nearly forever like Innova pressure cookers. Same with a good car. After spending a ton of time and money on parts, we suddenly realize it is time to give up on something we are so emotionally attached to and buy a new one.”
